The first volume contains a collection of plates and accompanying text containing plans, elevations, sections, and specimens of the architecture and ornaments of the Abbey Church of Bath. Comprised of nine plates, numbered II to X, with plate I being an engraved title page, which is not included in this volume. Lacking the title page, although the half title and introduction are present. The second volume contains the plates from Plan, Elevations, Sections, and Specimens of the Architecture and Ornaments of Exeter, Bath, Durham, and Gloucester , comprising 10 plates to Exeter, 7 plates to Bath, 6 plates to Durham, and 13 plates to Gloucester. With illustrated title pages to each section, although no text or contents. Bound in full modern cloth, with the bookplate and the odd notation of Bath Reference Library. Scarce. (2) Approx. 25" by 19" Bound in full cloth, with endpapers renewed. Externally, excellent. Bookplate to the front paste down and the odd library label or note to subsequent pages. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright, with a few spots, handling marks, and a tide mark to the margin of a few leaves. The odd repair to pages.
