Autograph Album - Music - a good well-filled c1960s autograph album largely filled with musicians, bands, and singers of the period. All collected around Bristol during the sixties. Names of note within include: Tony Jackson, The Zombies, Tony Prince, The Echoes, Mark Roman and the Javelins (twice), The Pentagons, The Squires, The Honeycombs, Vic Sweeney, Dave Berry, The Sorrows, The Small Faces, Them, Tom Jones (signed postcard photograph and also signed within the album), The Artwoods, Citizens, Nashville Teens, Rebel Rousers, The Who (Daltrey on a single page, Moon, Entwistle and Townshend on another page), Four Pennies, Them (inc. Van Morrison), Donovan, Mia Lewis, The Squires, The Quads, The Yardbirds (Jeff Beck on one page, the full band including a second Beck on another), The Hollies, Spencer Davis Group (twice), Pretty Things, The Primitives, The Kinks, The Fortunes, Rockin' Berries, Lionel Blair, Cilla Black, Mike Cotton Sound, The Quiet Five, The Mindbenders, Little Frankie, Billy Fury's Gamblers (plus Jane Asher), Pentagons, Hermans Hermits, Sounds Incorporated, Manfred Mann, Lulu, The Walker Brothers, The Troggs, Wayne Fontana And The Mindbenders, and others. Mostly annotated, very few unidentified. Some laid in, others tipped-in, some signed within the book, plus laid-in photographs clipped from magazines of the period. In some cases, the autograph collector has added the name of the band above a single-band member's signature, so we are unable to guarantee that autographs of the whole band are present (The Hollies, for example) but most certainly appear to feature the whole band, even if spread throughout the album. Some pages loose. Signed back-to-back, upside down etc. A well-filled and interesting album of autographs, a virtual 'who's who' of music in the sixties.
